Log Roll
This is a 4" sunset slide back barrette from BronzeJewelers holding a log roll. Very comfortable!
France Luxe
What a change, sticks that can be seen from the side of my bun! They are ivory tokyo twisted plastic sticks from France Luxe. They are holding a knotted bun. Unfortunately, I don't think these sticks will get a lot of mileage because they are way too flexible. No matter how I torque them into an updo, they flex into that shape and the 'do comes loose. Aggrivating! Guess I need more practice (or some Good Days pins for the heavy lifting).
Thank you Icydove for organizing the France Luxe order!
Ketylo
These are short pink enameled Ketylo (Treasures From the Tree) sticks in a knotted bun. They have a spiral down the length of the stick. I pulled one out so you could see the length, which is a little short for my bun. Ketylo on eBay and Treasures From the Tree non-eBay store
Cinnamon Bun
This is a plain cinnamon bun being held with a paris color dymondwood stick from WoodByC on eBay. This is my first stick from her and I'm very happy with the quality. You probably can't see it in the pic, but the top of this stick has intricate carving.
MAMACAT!
A single fan top 7" terracotta dymondwood stick from MamaCat holding a figure 8. There are 3 Good Hair Days pins hiding in there as well.
MAMACAT!
Alabaster 7" ribbon spiral dymondwood sticks from MamaCat holding an infinity bun (figure 8 on its side).
Cinnamon Bun
Turquoise ruby PapaDonH dymondwood sticks in a plain cinnamon bun.
Scarf Bun
I braided a long (about 60") scarf as the third strand of a 3 strand braid. There is a ponytail band at the base. I wrapped the braid around several times and clipped it with two lattice design claw clips from CVS or Walgreen's. The scarf was meant for use as a fashion belt, but it is very lightweight and suitable for my purpose as well.
Beebutt Bun
I've got nothing on Karen Marie! --inside joke for those who have seen pics of her beebutt bun. Anyway, I held this with a large dolphin clip in platinum sliver with a raised stripe (guess that would be Mohawk according to the Innovation clip names).
Snakeskin Slide
Don't worry, it's not real snakeskin! Ronquattro on eBay made this large slide out of leftover Gucci handbag material. It is very comfy and the perfect size (4" between the holes) for my ill-shaped log roll --a nearly impossible feat.
